Five women have been brutally murdered by Valentino, a killer who steals his victims’ hearts. Literally. FBI profiler, Yoko Tanaka is called in to consult on the case and within twenty-four hours the police have a suspect in custody.

The suspect is a precocious nineteen-year-old kid whose IQ is off the charts. He’s also a textbook psychopathic. Not only does he confess to the murders, he knows details of the crimes that only the killer could know. It’s an open and shut case. A total slam-dunk.

The killer’s name? Jefferson Winter.

Jefferson Winter is a welcome new genius, and I can’t wait to meet him again.
